Hello, our imactive community at pokewarriorcats.proboards.com. I just wanted to say how unbielvibly imactive the comunity is. I worked days, weeks, maybe a month on this forum, and a few months pass. about 17 members, three forths of them inactive. I must say, I am greatly disappointed. I mean, look at the ~Banner Contest~ thread. A few months have passed, No votes in the poll. I am really unhappy about this. I had to delete about 5 accounts about inactivity. I am really disappointed. Back a few months ago, I hoped that my forum, pokewarriorcats.proboards.com, would be a thriving community like untoldtales.proboards.com . Instead, it is this inactive piece of trash which is left in the dirt and dust. Well, now, I am just about to give up on this forum. But I'm still not giving up hope. Thank you for reading this message, -Waterheart A few pointers: let me tell you from experience that you will see a LOT of people make accounts, and either log in for a few minutes, or never log in. Then there are the ones that are active for a while, and they suddenly disappear; sometimes coming back, sometimes not. There are also the ones that are active almost, if not, every, day. I found this forum via an advertisement, and I came and saw that there was no advertisement board! If you're going to advertise, you'll need to let people link back, or they will, and most likely won't alert you of it, delete your advertisement. PBs' forums that are active are give-and-get. You advertise, they advertise back. Try to up activity by having contests and other fun events. Members will get bored if new members don't join, and this points back to the advertisement paragraph above. Trust me, you've got to hit it really well with an amazing subject if you really want the forum to get far in a few months. Also, as a suggestion, I'd make subboards for the territory, clearing, leader's den, medicine den, elders' den, warriors' den, apprentices' den, and the nursery for the warrior roleplay boards so they're not as cluttered. If not all of those, then at least the territory and clearing. Final thing: people are often interested in those usually-beautiful skins that roleplays with admins who have been admin'ing, usually, for years know how to make. I personally cannot make skins that are that professional, but I can make colors match at least semi-nice. Maybe throw in a few codes here and there and see if you like them? Just remember that too many would be chaotic, and will slow down the loading speed of pages. |
